About the Yadava College

Yadava College, an autonomous co-educational institution in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, stands as a testament to the vision and dedication of the Yadava community. Established in 1969, it was founded by the late Shri. E. Rengasamy, the late Shri. Govindarajan and the late Shri. D. Nagendran, whose pioneering spirit continues to inspire us. The college has a 40-acre campus that features five blocks that accommodate 13 departments across science, humanities, and physical education. It also includes an administrative office, the principal's chamber, the Dean's office, the office of the controller of examinations, an auditorium, a conference hall, a computing center, a playground, a sports stadium, a health club, a language library, separate hostels for boys and girls, a student counseling center, and a career guidance cell. The well-equipped library serves as a valuable resource, catering to the diverse needs of our students. Yadava College is a beacon of academic excellence, offering a wide range of programs. It has been accredited with an "A" grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The college’s academic offerings include 13 undergraduate programs, seven postgraduate programs, and three research degrees, along with various certificate and diploma programs.
